Since when did it become a crime to prove who you say you are? Is showing valid identification so tedious? Let's get real – you can't even check in to a hotel room unless you can prove who you are. When I was kid you couldn't play T-ball without showing your birth certificate. So why shouldn't we expect the same when it comes to voting? I'm not the only one who's asking that. Arizona would like to know as well.
Arizona citizens have asked for volunteers to be present at voting sites to block illegal voters from the booths. In response, the Justice Department was scheduled to send 400 election observers to the polls to ensure this does not happen. Apparently, Hispanic groups are offended that anyone would have to show proof of identity in order to vote.
The election observers were to protect the "right" to vote without feeling intimidated. Hmm, that's interesting; I didn't see any election observers when the Black Panther Party stood in front of the polling places with clubs. Last time I checked that case was swept under the rug. I guess it's only intimidation if you're white.

Turning your head as thousands of ineligible voters cast their vote is a crime. Why should non-citizens have the right to vote? As an American, I deserve an explanation. Our government was not set up so that other countries could vote for our leaders. Why should an undocumented person have a say in who runs the United States?
I remember the first time I was able to vote. I was so excited. I went into the building and a woman I sort of knew was there with the signature book. I went up to her and reached for my ID. As I turned back to hand her my driver's license, she already had the page open with my name, so she thought. With no intension of verifying my ID, she said, "OK, Emily, go ahead and sign." I looked at her confused and responded, "I'm not Emily; I'm Chrissy Satterfield." She turned red and seemed embarrassed. She wasn't going to verify who I was. She would have let me vote as Emily without proving my identity. So, it's not just illegal immigrants who are able to vote, but fraudulent voters who will vote under false identities as well.

This is the kind of thing Arizona intends to prevent – people who vote under false identities and people who don't show proper identification when casting their vote. According to Fox News, in response to these election volunteers, civil-rights groups have claimed, "This is an attempt to intimidate minority voters." No, it is not. It is an attempt to intimidate FRAUDULENT VOTERS! People who have no right to vote in this country. Why is that so difficult to explain?

ACORN is a perfect example of fraudulent voting. It was busted in what was called "the worst case of voter registration fraud in Washington state history." ACORN agents filled out voter registration cards just by flipping through the phone book. They also used names you might recognize – Mary Poppins, Dick Tracy and my personal favorite … Jive Turkey. They even used the names of the deceased. They are proof that people will fill out registrations cards with false identities. Yet according to a 2006 ruling in Missouri, "a photo ID requirement is overly burdensome and a violation of the state constitution."
All over our country lawyers and judges stand against American citizens when they rule against proof of identity at the polls. If I have to show my ID at a night club, why shouldn't I show it when I register to vote? Overly burdensome? Maybe for liberals who count on the illegal vote. It's sickening to think our own citizens would rather win with fraudulent votes than to lose in a fair fight. They're obviously insecure.
Voter fraud is an epidemic and should be stopped. The only way to prevent this is to show proper identification when registering to vote. Otherwise, I could sign up as Minnie Mouse and have the ballot sent absentee to my home, never having to prove that I am, in fact, Minnie Mouse. As Americans, we need to get our heads in the game and realize that non-citizens and fraudulent voters are hurting our country.
My dose of honesty: Voter fraud makes me sick. I cannot stomach those who rely on cheating to pass laws. Americans have every right to make sure only legal citizens vote in this country. Groups like ACORN and those who stand up for illegal voters are worthless traitors who care more about winning than they do about this country.
