The Barack Obama administration would do anything to silence dissent and maintain power – including abrogating the most basic First Amendment-guaranteed rights to freedom of speech.
That's what Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius demonstrated recently when she warned health insurers across the country not to suggest rate increases are due to Obamacare.
"There will be zero tolerance for this type of misinformation and unjustified rate increases," she wrote in a letter Sept. 9 to Karen Ignagni, president of the American Health Insurance Plans, a trade organization representing U.S. health insurance companies. "Simply stated, we will not stand idly by as insurers blame their premium hikes and increased profits on the requirement that they provide consumers with basic protections."

In other words, Big Brother is watching you, and you had better not tell your customers the truth.
This is nothing short of tyranny.

First Obama, with the help of his party in Congress, pass unconstitutional legislation over the objections of the vast majority of Americans that is guaranteed to make health care more expensive because of the law of supply and demand. Then his administration threatens to crack down on insurers who simply explain the reality of the rising premiums to the public.

"Heath insurance premiums are increasing because of soaring prices for medical services, the impact of younger and healthier people dropping their insurance during the weak economy, and additional benefits required under the new law," said Ignagni. "It's a basic law of economics that additional benefits incur additional costs."
Ironically, the threat comes as even Obama conceded health insurance would be costlier under his plan.
"As a consequence of us getting 30 million additional people health care, at the margins that's going to increase our costs," he admitted. "We knew that. We didn't think that we were going to cover 30 million people for free."
Yet, that is not the story he was telling Americans when he was fighting to get the legislation passed. In 2008, he promised his policies would reduce family premiums by up to $2,500 "by the end of my first term as president."
Sebelius also issued a direct threat to insurers that if they don't play ball they will be regulated right out of business.

"We will also keep track of insurers with a record of unjustified rate increases," she wrote. "Those plans may be excluded from health insurance exchanges in 2014."
We're not just talking about soft socialism here any longer. Obamacare is quickly being exposed as the kind of command-and-control tyranny we have witnessed in places like the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany.
Once again, in the midterm election, the American people have spoken and repudiated the kinds of illegal and immoral actions that have become so familiar in the U.S. during the last two years.

The new Congress must act quickly, beginning in January, to overturn Obamacare and all of its provisions. Any and all federal bureaucrats who stand in the way should be dismissed and prosecuted, if necessary.
This should be among the Congress' first actions.
But the work hardly ends there.
In fact, that's just the beginning.

It will take more than two years of determined hard work just extricating America from the morass of draconian, economy-killing and liberty-destroying legislation and regulations imposed on the people by Obama and the current House and Senate.
That's why I believe it will be absolutely necessary for Congress to take on Obama himself. Unless he is exposed and deposed before 2012, the new Congress, for all its promise, will likely face veto after veto from the ideological zealot in the White House.
