The Nov. 2 elections gave Barack Obama the biggest slap-down of his life from something new – the tea party.
Not really a third party, it's Americans united by the belief government is out of control and their determination to speak out. They want to stop the Democrats and stop Barack Obama.
It couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

Then again, Barack Obama isn't a nice guy. He's a self-centered, self-important, bloodless elitist. He has no empathy and no sympathy. He lives in the isolated bubble of the self-ordained intelligentsia, imbued with the idea that he knows best and it's his job to enlighten everyone else.
Does that mean I have no respect for the man who is president? Yes. It may not be politically correct, but at this point in time, so be it. I respect the office but not the man.

I'm sick of his policies and his unending insults of American citizens. His denigration of American history and what our country represents for freedom on this globe is beyond infuriating.
Obama does not represent my country when he apologizes for us to foreign nations, many of which oppose us politically. He makes allowances for them, which insults Americans. But he doesn't care, because he has his own agenda.

He uses whatever means he deems necessary to achieve those ends – which clearly aim to change this country to the core. If he has his way, we'll no longer be the country envisioned by our founding documents – the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.
If Obama succeeds in his goals for the United States, the people will be left with a country that has lost freedom and the rights that go with it.
After being blindsided by Tuesday's election returns, which resulted in a massive GOP takeover of statehouses, GOP control in the House and a gain of seats in the Senate, Obama blithely says people just didn't understand him.
He can't believe that citizens saw through him and decided they didn't want to move down the road to state socialism.
But Obama is nothing if not stubborn. He doesn't plan to change a thing but asks for cooperation, conciliation and compromise.

What gall. He talks about compromise while forgetting his comment Jan. 23, 2009, during a White House meeting with Republicans and Democrats about the stimulus package.
The GOP expressed concern about tax credits for people who don't pay income taxes.
Obama's response? "I won. So I think on that one, I trump you."

It was "We won and will do what we want." And they did – having the majority in both houses of Congress.
Nancy Pelosi is proud of having rammed through at least 400 bills in just two years – legislation already changing the country.
But the American people changed the rules of the game with last week's election. They may have bought the presidential campaign rhetoric in 2008, which was foisted on us by a compliant media, but it didn't take long for the real faces behind the Democrat mask to be seen.
It showed on Obama but also on the likes of Harry Reid – who whispered his way to shove Obama's policies down the throats of senators and the steel-fisted, glib, Botoxed-gloss of Nancy Pelosi as she mocked the intelligence of average Americans.

Her classic line in a speech to the National Association of Counties on March 9, 2010, was: "But we have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it, away from the fog of the controversy."
In other words, no questioning allowed. Just shut up and take it. We know best; you don't.
That was only part of what destroyed Democrats' plans for total power over our lives, but it laid the groundwork which was cemented by federal takeovers of the private sectors, the crash of the economy, bankruptcies, unemployment, a soaring deficit and national debt at levels never contemplated.
Add to that the continuing war with no apparent goal to win, unwillingness to name the enemy and a denial that Islamist terrorism is a threat.

Then there's the acceptance of illegal aliens and a goal of amnesty while suing Arizona because it enforces federal law.
Americans awoke to the reality that the government was too big, too expensive and too controlling and at the same time, making us more vulnerable to enemies aiming to destroy us.
Adding to the growing anger was that the man at the top, who was elected with enormous support, was the one presenting the problems.
Barack Obama soared to the presidency, like a rocket, except it was fueled with fairy dust. Everything about him was, and is, illusory. Despite the fact that he got through the campaign and won the election – he's never revealed himself. We know virtually nothing about him or his life, and he gets away with the secrecy.

The rhetoric of hate spills out if anyone raises questions. Just asking, means you're a "racist." In fact, since Obama has been president, the words race and racist have not only been used, but overused.
For a man who was to unite Americans, Obama has slashed open schisms of race, religion, education, occupation, class and whatever else he and his minions can dredge up to instigate class warfare.
Obama's classic insult about "Bible-hugging, gun-owning, bitter clingers" was the first clue of what he really thinks of people not in his inner circle.
It's interesting that "bitter clingers" are OK when he wants their votes or when he wants to confiscate their earnings by incessant and increasing taxation – but beyond that, Obama has no use for them.

But now Obama wants compromise?
Hah!
Pay attention, Republicans. Don't. That's not what got you elected.
