Robert Gibbs' replacement at the White House as press secretary for Barack Obama, Jay Carney, has taken up where Gibbs left off.
At a briefing this week, he allowed NBC and Fox to ask six questions each, CBS to ask four and AP, ABC and CNN to have three each.
But neither the most-senior correspondent on the White House beat, Connie Lawn, nor the second-most senior correspondent, Les Kinsolving of WND, were allowed to ask any questions.

Gibbs famously ignored Kinsolving requests to be recognized for a question a multitude of times while he was in the office. Carney, who just took over the position this month, appears to be following in his footsteps.

And that, according to the Times' report of comments from Prof. Edward Peters, a consultant to the Vatican court, is a "violation of the fundamental moral expectation of the church." He warned that Cuomo taking communion in a Catholic church "is sacreligious."
"Does the president believe this is right or wrong," Kinsolving had prepared to ask Carney.
Cuomo's marriage to Kerry Kennedy ended in a bitter divorce in 2005.
Kinsolving also wanted to ask, "The New York Times has also reported a lawsuit which charges the Department of Defense with allowing a military culture that fails to prevent rape and sexual assault. Will the White House deny this charge or not?"
