Americans heed warning of Japanese disaster

By WND Staff

The catastrophe that enveloped Japan’s Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant when an earthquake slammed the island nation, a 30-foot tsunami hit and the facility’s cooling systems failed largely isn’t predicted by experts to raise radiation levels in the United States significantly. But it’s provided a reminder of the potential for problems, and people have made the RADSticker miniature radiation detector No. 1 among best-sellers at the WND Superstore for this week.

In fact, these detectors suddenly have become very popular, with the federal government stepping in and ordering the production that is expected to be available for the foreseeable future shortly after WND placed its latest order.

The RADSticker is a peel and stick, postage stamp sized, instant color developing dosimeter, and is always ready and with you 24/7. It can be attached to the back of your drivers license or anything you keep close, for any future radiation emergency.

Non-electrical, reliable, rugged, it is useful for determining radiation exposure and if medical treatment is required in a major radiological incident, such as a nuclear or dirty bomb explosion, nuclear power plant accident or mishandled radiation sources.

There doesn’t have to be an earthquake and tsunami for there to be problems. Federal officials reveal that about 375 sources of radiation of all kinds are reported lost or stolen each year in the U.S.

The use of RADStickers will empower First-Responders then to quickly triage those actually exposed in need of medical attention, from the sea of people who will naturally feel sick just from worry and fear of radiation exposure during a crisis without a RADSticker™ to tell them otherwise. RADStickers both quell public fear & panic and allows our First-Responders and medical resources to then focus where most urgently needed.

In second place among best-sellers is author Joel Richardson’s “The Islamic Antichrist.”

He breaks new ground with this devastating account of the possible connection between the Biblical Antichrist and the Islamic Mahdi. The Bible predicts that in the last days a charismatic leader will establish a global following in the name of peace. The Quran also predicts that a man will rise up to lead the nations, pledging to usher in an era of peace. The man in the Quran is called the Mahdi, or Islam’s savior.

Richardson’s work argues the Madhi could, in fact, be the Antichrist.

Chapter titles include “Islamic Eschatology,” “The Sacred Texts of Islam,” “Comparing the Biblical Antichrist and the Mahdi,”  “The Dark Nature of Muhammad’s Revelations,” “How Should we Respond,” and “Preparing for Martyrdom.”

In third place is one of the hottest new books around, “Flipside of Feminism” by Suzanne Venker and Phyllis Schlafly.

Columnist Ann Coulter calls it “A gutsy and profound book. Those who crave the truth will inhale ‘The Flipside of Feminism,’ while those beholden to feminism will resist it. For both, ‘Flipside’ is a must-read. Schlafly and Venker show how insidious the feminist movement is – and what is its real motive.”

David Limbaugh added, “My friend Phyllis Schlafly has been a tireless warrior against the feminists’ ongoing cultural assaults on this nation and refuses to allow their attacks to proceed under the radar while so many other important issues consume our attention and energy. Phyllis and Suzanne Venker, have written a powerful expose on the feminists’ war on traditional values and, ultimately, on the true value of women and family. In ‘The Flipside of Feminism’ they provide a practical guide for reclaiming what should never have been lost.”

The book explains that 40 years have passed since the so-called women’s movement claimed to liberate women from preconceived notions of what it means to be female – and the results are in. The latest statistics from the National Bureau of Economic Research show that as women have gained more freedom, more education, and more power, they have become less happy.

Enough, write the authors. They say it’s time to liberate America from feminism’s dead-end road. Cast off the ideology that preaches faux empowerment and liberation from men and marriage. While modern women enjoy unprecedented freedom and opportunities, Venker and Schlafly argue that this progress is not the result of feminism.

They write that women’s progress has been a natural evolution – due in large part to men’s contributions. American men are not a patriarchal bunch, as feminists claim. They have, in fact, aided women’s progress. And like women, they have been just as harmed by the feminist movement.
