Prominent neoconservative leader Bill Kristol, editor of the Weekly Standard, recently has championed the international coalition bombing Libya, dubbing President Obama a "born-again neocon" for the U.S. leader's decision to attack Libyan positions.
Klein, WND's Jerusalem Bureau chief, argued the neoconservative movement, while perhaps well-intentioned, has been proven wrong time and again and has done more harm than good.

Klein contends the movement may be a threat to American security interests, including its recommendations for U.S. policy on Israel.

Stated Klein: "I am calling for a new foreign policy in America, not based on Bill Kristol's fantasy of spreading democracy throughout the world, but based on reality."

"The neoconservative movement – people like Bill Kristol – do need to be kept as far away as possible from the America decision-making process and from foreign policy," Klein concludes. "They have wrecked the Middle East."
