I hug trees

I hug trees. Usually, when no one is looking. I love trees. I thank God for creating such beautiful, fruit-bearing, breeze-swaying, shade-giving, poem-inspiring wonders. I am a tree hugger, but not a “tree hugger.” Pantheism is a sin. (Romans 1:25) (Exodus 20:3)

Pantheism: the view that the Universe (Nature) and God are identical.

I started out this week with a goal to study Anthropogenic (man-caused) Global Warming/Climate Change, AGW, and prove that it is a lie propagated by the left for political purposes: redistribution of wealth – communism.

In accomplishing this, I opened up a huge can of worms involving a massive movement with tentacles reaching far beyond this one hoax perpetuated by the dishonest EPA and (Climategate-exposed) fraudulent ICPP.

I discovered radical environmentalism: the green movement.

Radical environmentalism, “the green dragon,” is a worldview that twists Scripture from the truth that God only is to be worshipped, man is created in God’s image, appointed as a steward of the earth and children are a blessing ( Psalm 127:3-5), to the lie that the earth is to be worshipped, man is the enemy of earth and children are an unnecessary carbon footprint. The green dragon seeks to reduce human population through contraception, abortion and euthanasia. (Obama’s science czar, John Holdren, suggests forced abortions and mass sterilization through drinking water.)

The green dragon destroys “logos,” reason; it is a false religion – it leaves out “sin” and the judgment of God; it is deadly to prosperity, freedom and the Gospel. It is pantheistic – a mixture of New Age, mysticism, Hinduism, Buddhism and paganism; a cult based on fear, lies and pseudo-science. The green dragon has invaded our schools, churches, the minds of our children and now our government’s policies.

Radical environmentalism has brainwashed our children to believe the lie: Humans are evil and they are destroying the world. Our Harvard-Columbia President Obama is a victim of this brainwashing, and it is affecting his decision making to the extent that we now have an economic crisis and he won’t let us use our natural resources to fix the problem. Obama placed a moratorium on oil drilling, when, according to the Rand report “Oil Shale Development in US prepared for the National Energy of Technical Laboratory of U.S. Dept. of Energy,” the largest oil shale deposit in the world is located in the Green River Formation (Colorado, Utah, Wyoming) and contains triple the amount of oil in Saudi Arabia. The Environmental Protection Agency just stopped Shell from drilling off Alaska. The Natural Resources Defense Council got a Judge Wanger to allow the lush Central Valley farmland in California to become a dust bowl and economic wasteland to save a smelt. The Fish and Wildlife Service has stopped not only oil and gas operations but potentially agriculture, for a Dunes Sagebrush Lizard. The government is now controlling which light bulbs we use. The new squiggly “green” ones cost six times more and have just been discovered to cause cancer.

I had the privilege of meeting Dr. and Mrs. Cal Beisner this week. That guy is a walking encyclopedia. He handed me the excellent, comprehensive DVD “Resisting the Green Dragon,” where 10 experts explain how environmentalism has become a new, false religion; how its policies are devastating to the world’s poor; how it threatens the sanctity of life; how it targets our youth; and how its vision is global.

Here is a link to Dr. Beisner’s comprehensive thesis on the topic. Also, watch him on Glenn Beck.

Earth Day is green-indoctrination day.

Al Gore speaks to teenagers of “old flawed assumptions of the past, you and I know about climate change,” inferring that us poor, old parents are uninformed. The propaganda is everywhere; green = virtuous, hip. I saw it on the cover of a magazine called “Poder” when picking up my daughter from her piano lesson.

Avatar is James Cameron’s ode to pantheism.

“Bloomberg Businessweek reported … that the gas run-up is a ‘silver-lining’ suggesting Americans would now be more willing to accept Obama’s green agenda!”

– David Martin, MRC Media Research Center

Way back in 2000, I was asked to do a corporate stand-up comedy gig and “make it green.” I called my Los Angeles architect friend M.J. for help with green jokes. He laughed, “Oh, green! What a scam, it’s a shell game.” He told me that his buildings needed a “gold” rating on the Leeds Certification to prove their greenness. He was told to build a shower in a Wal-Mart to encourage employees to ride bikes to work. He laughed, “The extra water used, the extra fixtures, pipes, the extra flushing from the extra pooping from the extra eating from the extra exercise, the extra paper towels and toilet paper, etc., makes the whole building LESS energy-efficient, less green. But, it appears more green, and that’s what it is all about – appearance.” M.J. said, “Recycling trash, separating it into three bins, requires extra trucks, extra fuel, more exhaust; it wastes more than it saves, but it appears green – all a shell game. If you really care about the earth, don’t recycle!”

In “Heaven and Earth,” professor Ian Plimer, the two-time winner of Australia’s highest scientific honor, the Eureka Prize, says, “We live in a time when the methodology of science is suspended. Reactions to human-induced global warming based on incomplete science can only be extraordinarily costly, will distort energy policy and will make the poor poorer. … In the case of the effect of CO2 on climate, the correct solution to the non-problem of CO2 is to have the courage to thoughtfully do nothing.”

Dr. Terry Lovell explains “The Death of Global Warming” well:

Dr. Lovell sent me “NCEE Comments on Draft Technical Support Document for Endangerment Analysis for Greenhouse Gas Emissions under Clean Air Act: from office of Policy Economics and Innovation U.S. EPA.”

It says:

  1. IPCC used faulty solar data in dismissing the direct effect of solar variability on global temperatures.
  2. Atlantic hurricane behavior originally thought to be affected by AGW (man) is now thought to be neutral; future cyclones will be the same as the past.
  3. Global temperatures are most directly related to solar (sun) variability.
  4. There has been a downward trend in temperatures since 1998.
  5. The best explanation for global temperature fluctuations is variations in the PDO/ENSO.
  6. ENSO appears to work in 3-5 year cycles and PDO/AMO in 60 year cycles.

Other facts:

  1. CO2 is good not bad. Greenhouse gases are mostly water.
  2. Climate can’t be measured, it’s a state, not a quantity.
  3. “Climate Science” is in its infancy, and atmospheric modeling that can predict changes in the weather or climate more than about a day or two in advance does not exist.
  4. The EPA government website bases their scientific “facts” on information from the IPCC, which has been proven false and doctored. (Climategate)
  5. No science exists proving man has any significant effect on global warming or climate change.
  6. Many factors influence climate, the least of which is man.

Genesis 8:22, God’s promise to Noah: “While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and winter and summer … shall not cease.”
