Michael Savage |
Michael Savage, host of one of the nation’s top radio talk shows, unveiled a completely new design to his popular website today.
The fiercely loyal “Savage Nation” listenership of 8 million a week already has come to enjoy his unique daily take on news and culture at MichaelSavage.com.
Now, it gets better.
Along with the site’s fresh design, Savage said he’s looking forward to introducing new features shortly –
including a weekly Savage newsletter, more audio clips from the radio
show and more news and commentary.
“There’s a reason MichaelSavage.com is the leading website among all talk-radio personalities,” Savage said. “That’s why I am bullish on MichaelSavage.com.”
The site is frequently updated, seven days a week.
“The Savage Nation” airs live, Monday through Friday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Eastern Time, on more than 300 stations nationwide and in 42 of the top 50 markets.
Savage is a trained scientist, with master’s degrees in medical botany and medical anthropology and a Ph.D. from the University of California at Berkeley in epidemiology and nutrition science. He is also the author of 20 books, including four New York Times best-sellers.
His listeners love his tenacious, street-wise edge to his educated take on politics and society.
“Michael Savage is an original – you cannot ignore him,” says Bob Bruno, a consultant to WOR new talk radio in New York City. “Michael is a fearless, gritty, tough, funny, street-smart, talk master – that’s why we are proud to have him on WOR.”
Savage says his listeners tell him they hear “a bit of Plato, Henry Miller, Jack Kerouac, Moses, Jesus, and Frankenstein.”
“I pull many of my life experiences, including that of father, son, husband, brother, ice cream factory worker, busboy, lifeguard, writer, scientist, and my huge library of books,” he says. “Listeners also hear top-flight guests and, in keeping with the fact that talk hosts attract the audience they deserve, listeners hear literate callers with intelligence, wit, and energy.”
