Welcome to entitlement sex

By Linda Harvey

New York now has “gay” marriage. The back-slaps and celebration will go on for weeks. The day before this historic vote ( a.k.a., “day of infamy”), Barack Obama spoke to a Democratic Party/homosexual donor dinner and shared his insights about social justice and the American way.

Obama said he looks forward to the day “when every single American, gay or straight or lesbian or bisexual or transgender, is free to live and love as they see fit [sic].”

The president stopped short of giving a thumbs up to same-sex marriage, although everyone knew he would be fine with that, and I’m sure he’s congratulating New Yorkers right now. Besides, with the above comment, he has given us so much more.

This historic sound bite provides another glimpse into the working ideology of the free-world leader and his liberal fellow travelers. Long before he was fixing the finest health-care system on the planet, spending us into financial ruin and calling it progress, he taught us about “spreading the wealth.” He’s happy with people spreading other things, apparently, wherever they want.

This “freedom” will include much more than a perpetual pansexual pagan party. It will, and already does, include libel, slander, intimidation, corruption of youth, revolt in congregations, suppression of parental rights, revision of language, disease, loss of employment and loss of life.

Oh, and did I mention public sex, the porn explosion and public nudity?

Welcome to entitlement sex.

The New York crowd was on board with this concept, too, erupting into applause for Obama at all the appropriate moments. And why not? They live in a city that has already earned its Good Sodomizing Seal of Approval. More than 36,000 men who have sex with men in New York City are currently living with HIV/AIDS. This bleak prognosis casts a shadow on these “marriages,” but no one wants to think about that.

New York City wears another red badge of courage. Its citizens abort 41 percent of all pregnancies. Is it a coincidence that sexual deviance accompanies rejection of new life and children? I think not. And it’s also not a coincidence that this state boasts a string of governors who’ve had sexual integrity problems. Gov. Cuomo lives with a woman who is not his wife. How appropriate that he leads this state, for such a time as this.

Despite his barely restrained endorsement of homosexual unions, Obama has already given the “gay” lobby almost all the keys to the kingdom, and he didn’t hesitate to remind them. They can teach homosexuality and cross-dressing to kids with presidential blessings, and call it an “anti-bullying” message. California may soon pass a bill that mandates positive “gay” lessons.

Obama and his supporters are making videos for homosexually attracted kids, stating, “It gets better.” Never mind that this does not reflect reality, nor that the campaign is organized and run by a virulently anti-Christian activist who brags about his three-way sex escapades that include his “husband” and uses constant vulgarities in his sex advice column. Dan Savage, who stooped recently to publicly insulting Concerned Women for America CEO Penny Nance’s grade-school son, is hardly the source most parents would consult for “encouraging” youth about a bright future full of God hatred and sex talk.

But Barack Obama seems to think a lot of him, and doggone it, if people want this, shouldn’t they have it? What kind of racist denies people, even exploited 13-year-olds or adult perverts, the right to “be who they are”?

As proponents of same-sex marriage take off the gloves and now boldly call tradition-minded Americans “bigots” and “haters,” we can reap the consequences of a sex-entitlement mentality. It’s gimme, gimme, gimme and no accountability. Genuine joy and pleasure are oddly elusive as personal and societal debt mounts up and moral bankruptcy looms.

Barack Obama, along with the previous Congress, gave us homosexuality in the military and a hate-crimes law covering sexual orientation and gender identity. We already had laws punishing the crimes in question, but reparations are needed to bolster the reputation of deviant lifestyles, to reinforce the correct viewpoints and punish any wrong attitudes. “Freedom” isn’t free, you know.

Just as rumors of a looming economic crisis are a Wall Street/GOP/tea-party plot to disenfranchise and rob the middle class, so too are concerns about unleashing sex entitlement on our culture. How harmful can two men committed to each other – and others along the way – be to neighborhoods, workplaces, churches, schools? How about two women who have no interest in, and actually loathe, males? Such a positive contribution to society – not to mention passing along worthy values to their artificially inseminated children, all in the service of being “natural” women.

Just this past month, with the country’s proliferation of “gay pride” parades, Americans were able to watch, if they could stomach it, the “crème de la crème” of sex entitlement, the stuff that makes these folks proud: women who’ve amputated healthy breasts and men who’ve added false ones, writhing leather lovers, prancing queens. Lots of skin, whether it nauseates us or not. And don’t forget, endless Democratic Party politicians.

My colleagues at Mass Resistance pulled from their archives a video of the 2008 New York City “pride” parade, where Weiner’s future as a sex-entitlement pioneer was being foretold, and not one New York psychic picked up those vibes.

Is this an America that is sustainable? Experts have found much higher rates of violence among homosexual couples as well as relatively short duration of relationships, and that’s even compared to the not-so-well-behaving heterosexual mainstream. As the crowds cheer over New York’s same-sex “marriage,” the wise should mourn and pledge to undo this damage if possible.

But is the debt already too large? Have we already reached a tipping point where only catastrophe can bring renewal? The sages among us – those “haters” and “bigots” who keep trying to sound the alarm – need to stay focused and not lose hope. We must keep educating others that this is not a civil-rights issue, that we have not gained freedom, but instead are selling ourselves into bondage.

Most of all, we must not give up the fight, because only God knows the outcome.
