A photo at the United Nations is turning into a diplomatic embarrassment for President Obama who was caught waving in the image, covering the face of another world leader.
The image, snapped yesterday by pool photographer Allan Tannenbaum, shows Obama with a grin on his face as he waves his hand in front of Mongolian President Tsakhia Elbegdorj's face.
The picture is already sparking plenty of discussion.
Rich Shulman of MSNBC writes, "I don't know much about diplomatic protocols, but I would guess that waving during the group photo is something to avoid."
Maggy Patrick at ABC News said Obama "must have forgotten for a brief moment that he wasn't alone."
Radio giant Rush Limbaugh noted on his show this afternoon, "I don't care if it's been Photoshopped. It's funny. It's hilarious. And it's funny because it has truth. It is something Obama would do, even if he didn't do it and it was Photoshopped."

"Just the look on Obama's face when you see this," Limbaugh continued. "With everything going on about the questions about his competence and everything else, he looks like Alfred E. Neuman of Mad Magazine in this picture."
