I've been on this planet for 57 years, and I've never seen this country more divided.
There really are two Americas.
And you can basically illustrate the divide this way: Roughly half the country identifies with the tea party, and the other half identifies with the flea-baggers you see occupying Wall Street and other select targets.

I know you can argue the numbers. Right now, I would say significantly more than half of the conscious people in the country actually would choose the tea party over the flea party. But that's just because we are all so uncomfortable living under the leadership of Barack Obama, the patron saint of the flea party.
I told you he would govern not as a commander in chief but as community organizer in chief – and that's just what he has done.

Without Barack Obama there would be no "occupations." He has ginned up this whole thing – he and his friends George Soros and the children of Saul Alinsky. If you didn't have millions of overgrown children attending universities that inculcate them in a Godless, state-worshipping religion, you don't have a flea party. If you didn't have tens of millions of smaller children being groomed as future agitators by National Education Association goons posing as "teachers," you don't have a flea party.

But a flea party we have.
Too many Americans are learning that they can get what they want by merely demanding it from government.
The productive class, once a clear majority in America, has shrunk to right around 50 percent – though more than 50 percent of the population is actually already on the government dole, at least part of the time.
If we were a nation fit for self-government, all one would have to do is look objectively at these two parties, compare and contrast, and nearly all would seek to identify with the tea party. But that's not the case today.
Yes, the tea party protested, too. But it protested government intrusion into our lives. It asked for nothing but the return of liberty and the promise of constitutionally limited government. And when it was done protesting, the tea party cleaned up after itself – left the grounds looking better than before the rallies occurred.

Now look at the flea-baggers. What do you see? You see people sitting in squalor and refusing even to let the police and sanitation departments enter to clean up their mess. The spoiled little brats won't even let Mommy and Daddy change their flea-infested poopy diapers.
Any reasonable, responsible, intelligent, freedom-loving person would look at these two groups and identify with the tea party.
But there are many more spoiled brats in America today than those occupying Wall Street and other sites. The media are infested with them. Government is infested with them. Most of the major cultural institutions in America are infested with them.

So our work goes beyond just cleaning up the mess left behind by the flea-bag occupiers. It's a big job of disinfecting and deodorizing that will take decades to accomplish if we start now and work feverishly until the job is done.
But first you have to recognize the problem.
And so far, too few in America have done that.
Yes, I have no doubts America is ready to throw Obama out. But who is going to replace him? And who is going to replace Harry Reid – and John Boehner, for that matter. This is not a problem created just by Democrats. It would be a mistake to lay the whole problem on them – even though they are disproportionately responsible for the mess we're in economically, socially, culturally.

But we need more than new leaders. We need to regain the desire, the knowledge, the ability and the will to govern ourselves.
