We've all witnessed the chilling effects of political correctness when it is imposed on a free society by the political left.
Now those insidious lessons have been learned by Muslim Brotherhood tentacles inside the U.S. who are using them to shut down anti-Shariah conferences, black out media coverage of those with warnings about the jihadist threat and intimidate political campaigns that dare to listen to the voices of reason and moderation within the Arab community.
That's what the Council on American-Islamic Relations does best – yet its leaders still remain the darling go-to guys for the Big Media.

CAIR is a Hamas front group that recently urged Homeland Security not to focus its attention on the threats posed by al-Qaida and its ideological allies working inside the U.S. More than a dozen of its officials, board members and employees have been indicted or convicted of terrorism-related charges. CAIR is an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest terrorism-financing case in the history of the U.S.

And now CAIR, in league with the terrorist organization Hezbollah, is smearing Walid Phares, one of the most respected Arab scholars living and working in the U.S. today.
What's bugging CAIR is that Phares is one of presidential candidate Mitt Romney's national security advisers. So the organization is touting Phares as an "extremist" (one of its favorite terms for anyone with whom it disagrees) and calling on Romney to let him go.

The anti-Phares campaign by CAIR was originally initiated by "civil rights" operative Randall Todd "Ismail" Hoyer, who began the attacks against Dr. Phares and was later jailed for terrorism offenses.
Mitt Romney may not be my choice for the Republican nomination, but his selection of Phares is a credit to his own discernment about national security issues.
Once again, CAIR is exposing itself as the extremist organization it is – a proven arm of the Hamas division of the Muslim Brotherhood operating with impunity inside the U.S.
WND has led the way in documenting CAIR's nefarious connections and true purpose as a lobbying group by publishing "Muslim Mafia: Inside the Secret Underworld That's Conspiring to Islamize America" and by paying for the legal defense of two of the men responsible for infiltrating the group – David Gaubatz and his son, Chris.
I hate to sound like a broken record, but there are just too few with the courage and stomach for taking on CAIR – and we need your financial support more than ever.

The First Amendment is losing all its meaning when groups like CAIR use intimidation and threats to achieve its agenda.
When we can't find hotels willing to host conferences to expose CAIR and other groups like them, we effectively lose freedom of speech.
When CAIR runs interference for al-Qaida and no one besides WND reports it, we effectively lose freedom of the press.

When members of Congress are blackballed by CAIR and decide battling the anti-Shariah network just isn't worth the fight politically, we lose our national security.
When presidential candidates are maligned for using advisers who disagree with CAIR and the Muslim Mafia, our political system is perverted beyond recognition.
When the media establishment embraces CAIR as a "Muslim civil rights organization" and provides it with an unchallenged platform for airing its grievances, we lose our ability as a nation to discern right from wrong.
WND can't fight this fight alone.
