WASHINGTON – WND founder Joseph Farah today expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Proclaiming Justice to the Nations for selecting him as the 2012 recipient of its "Ed McAteer Tree of Life" award to be presented in February at the annual National Religious Broadcasters convention in Nashville.
"I am so honored and so thankful to Laurie Cardoza-Moore of Proclaiming Justice of the Nations for this recognition," said Farah. "It is especially gratifying given the award's namesake – Ed McAteer – and I were very close right up until his death in 2004. I traveled to Israel with him. I traveled to Washington with him. He was a very special man who just wanted to be a blessing to his country and to the nation of Israel – and he was both."

"Because of your steadfast support for Israel, and because you represent the passion of the late Ed McAteer, as well as the mission of PJTN, the board unanimously agreed that you should be the recipient of this most prestigious award for all the work you have done to support Israel throughout your lifetime," said Cardoza-Moore in making the announcement.
