Barney Frank won't seek re-election

Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.) will not seek reelection in 2012, and will

announce his retirement in a press conference Monday afternoon.

Frank's spokesman, Harry Gural, said in a statement that Frank will hold a

conference at 1 p.m. at Newton City Hall in Newton, Mass., to "formally

announce and answer questions about his decision not to run for reelelection in
