Women lie about their looks whilst men lie about their jobs in the battle to find a partner through internet dating, a survey has found.
When it comes to lying on their profile, men are worse than women – with many also saying they are taller than they really are and lying about their age and weight.
More than 40 per cent admit to making out they earn more than they really do to make their jobs sound more interesting – while 33 per cent of women do the same.
