An Ohio woman convicted of posing as a teenage boy to pursue a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old girl has been arrested in Humboldt County after allegedly failing to register as a sex offender.
Patricia Dye, 32, was clad in a blue jail jumpsuit with her hands cuffed in front of her when she appeared in Humboldt County Superior Court on Wednesday, waiving her right to an extradition hearing and agreeing to be returned to her native Ohio to answer to the charge.
A petite woman with short hair, Dye appeared relaxed during the brief court appearance, smiling at bailiffs and laughing with her attorney as she filled out court documents.
