A fourth-grader fatally choked on meatballs in a Bronx school cafeteria last week as clueless staff looked on and did nothing to save him, his family and a witness said yesterday.
School officials even screamed at helpless little Jonathan Jewth to save himself as the 9-year-old lay prone on the floor of the cafeteria of PS 47 in Parkchester, an eyewitness told The Post.
”I saw the boy start choking but nobody was helping,” said Andrea Perez, 25, who was in the cafeteria to pick up her daughter from school when tragedy struck on Dec. 5 shortly after noon.
