Man armed with bat, handcuffs foils would-be burglars

Armed with a baseball bat and handcuffs, a retired police officer turned the tables on the men suspected of burglarizing his home in Olympia.

Kathie Thompson said her neighbor was upset Friday when he discovered burglars had broken into his home and ransacked it.
