The Israeli activist legal group Shurat HaDin has sent a letter to Twitter threatening legal action unless the site stops hosting Hezbollah Twitter accounts, and accounts for other terrorist organizations.
The group, whose slogan is 'Bankrupting terrorism, one lawsuit at a time,' has sent a letter to Twitter claiming that the site is in violation of American law for 'providing services' to terrorist organisations.
Twitter's anything-goes policy has led to terrorists from groups such as Hezbollah and the Taliban openly Tweeting via the site.
