Obama in Wonderland

While Americans were struggling to make ends meet in the fall of 2009, one place in America was a Wonderland populated with glitterati who hosted lavish parties for themselves: the White House.

"The New York Post revealed Sunday that for Halloween that year, actor Johnny Depp (as the Mad Hatter) and Hollywood director Tim Burton constructed an elaborate Wonderland in the White House's State Dining Room. Chewbacca from the "Star Wars" movies greeted guests. The whole thing was so lavish that Barack Obama knew how bad this luxurious party would look to American taxpayers, and succeeded in keeping the whole thing quiet for over two years.

Obama was right. Pigs at the trough. How can you expect someone who never earned one to respect a hard-earned dollar? There was a time when public officials would worry about their jobs if they used, abused, squandered Americans' taxpayer dollars; now it's a rite of passage.

Just imagine what the media uproar over this would be if Obama were a Republican. Who can forget the giant thrashing Bush took for his inauguration fete, which cost a mere $40 million, which amounts to little more than the tax on Obama's inauguration orgy of $170 million. And that was just the kick-off. Last week alone, the Obamas' spare-no-expense 17-day Hawaiian holiday cost taxpayers $4 million. The Obamas once again did their best to hide their profligacy: Michelle Obama wore an apparently simple sundress that was actually a designer item costing nearly $2,000.

Remember how the media obsessed over Sarah Palin's wardrobe? That same media ignores Michelle Obama's outrageous wardrobe.

Meanwhile, in his new budget Obama is proposing a pay raise for civilian federal workers. It is already depraved and degenerate that federal workers' median salary is almost double that of private-sector employees. It is public "service"; where's the "service"? And this new pay raise proposal is even more depraved: People can't find work and these parasites are getting a raise.

At the same time, the Obama administration is planning to lay off 500,000 military personnel.

How is all of this happening without the masses rising up in horror? The enemedia keep folks in the dark.

Further, under the socialized medical program of Obamacare, the rest of us won't have "the same health care" as Congress. Nice. According to Mark McClellan of the Brookings Institution, members of Congress will have access to medical plans that are "significantly more generous than most Americans are getting."

And this Wednesday, the White House is hosting an "Insourcing American Jobs" forum that will feature "business leaders who are bringing jobs back home [to] see how we can help other businesses follow their lead." Obama explained that this seminar was important "because this is a make or break moment for the middle class and all those working to get there. We've got to keep at it. We've got to keep creating jobs. And we've got to keep rebuilding our economy so that everyone gets a fair shot, everyone does their fair share – and everyone plays by the same rules."

Does anyone else get nauseated when they hear America's most dangerous president spew such enormous lies? Right now unemployment is just under 10 percent. During the Bush administration it was under 5 percent. Someone bring back the bad old days of Bush.

And "Insourcing"? What business in its right fiscal mind would want to do business in the United States today, what with astronomical labor costs, Obama's labor thug army (SEIU, ACORN, etc.), a hostile business environment, high taxes and socialists in power? Ask any businessman what Obama did to the business of America.

No one, in the history of this nation, has done more than Barack Obama has done to tip the scales, pay off thug unions, demonize and marginalize wealth creators, destroy the economy, cripple capitalism and saddle every single American with incalculable debt. Yet Obama has the audacity of deceit to say that America is "headed in the right direction." He vowed: "This year, I'm going to keep doing whatever it takes to move this economy forward and to make sure that middle class families regain the security they've lost over the past decade. That's my New Year's resolution to all of you."

He sounds like the late Kim Jong-il or Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Everything he says is devoid of reality.

Moochers and looters are making the laws. They must be stopped in November.
