(NEW YORK DAILY NEWS) — The mental decline associated with aging starts as early as 45 — about 15 years sooner than previously thought, according to a ground-breaking new study.
Researchers tested the memory, reasoning, vocabulary and aural and visual comprehension of 7,400 British office workers over the course of a decade.
There were drops in every category except vocabulary, in every age group — with the most signficant loss in mental reasoning.
