Media giant Glenn Beck says some supporters of Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul have threatened his life.
The claim came during Beck's TV show Tuesday night, as he was analyzing Paul's political stances and the Texas congressman's performance in Monday night's debate in South Carolina.
"I'm the one that sticks up for Ron Paul on the radio all the time and in meetings. Not all of them are like this," Beck said. "Just a few have threatened my life, run me off the road. We get threats from Ron Paul supporters all the time. That's a problem. Don't be a zealot. You are just as bad – if not worse – than the Occupy Wall Street people. And I don't know if you've seen any shows I've done on those people. They're bad!"

Beck did not provide any further specifics about the death threats, but added, "Ron Paul supporters – they're a special breed. They will not budge on any point."
This week, Paul received high-profile media coverage after calling for a "golden rule" in U.S. foreign policy during the debate.

"My point is, that if another country does to us what we do to others, we aren't going to like it very much. So I would say maybe we ought to consider a golden rule in foreign policy," Paul said, receiving laughs and jeers from the crowd. "We endlessly bomb these other countries and then we wonder why they get upset with us?"
Paul also called for an end to foreign wars.

"This idea that we can't debate foreign policy and that all we have to do is start another war, I mean ... it's war mongering," Paul said. "This country doesn't need another war, we need to quit the ones we're in, we need to save the money and bring our troops home."
Beck said many of Paul's policies are correct, especially when it comes to financial matters. But he's concerned about Paul's belief that Muslim radicals would not be targeting America if the U.S. would just leave Arab countries alone.
"Ron, if you want to win, please rethink your foreign policy," Beck urged.
"If Ron Paul had a rational foreign policy, he'd be winning by 20 points. I'm convinced it's the only thing that is holding this man back right now. He is the only guy who gets it on economic issues. That's it. Him! I don't think anybody else really understands the damage of the Fed. I don't think anybody understands the progressive nightmare. He understands it in financial terms. I think he understands it with the Constitution as well.
"He is right where the American people are, a good portion of them. But then he goes down this road of – are you living in a dream world, Ron? Really? This is why libertarians always lose, because their demands are too extreme. If you want to do these things, it requires revolution."
