While it became clear today that the murderer of four Jews in Toulouse, France, is an Islamic jihadist, French authorities and news reports in Europe and the U.S. Monday spoke of a “random attack” likely carried out by neo-Nazis.
Talk-radio host Michael Savage saw Muslim terrorism written all over the massacre from the start, wondering to his listeners Monday why everyone seemed to be ignoring the obvious.
“Every possible alternative was used in order to avoid coming to the conclusion that this was a Muslim terrorist attack,” Savage said in a monologue published on his website today.
Early this morning, French police closed in on Mohammed Merah, a 24-year-old Frenchman of Algerian descent who has identified himself as a member of al-Qaida.
Merah, who barricaded himself in his house in Toulouse, has admitted to killing three Jewish children, a rabbi and three French paratroopers. French Prosecutor Francois Molins said Merah had been to Afghanistan twice and had trained in the Pakistani jihadist stronghold of Waziristan.
“If you listened to the liars in the media, you know the truth today,” Savage writes. “And if you listened to Michael Savage, you knew the truth two days ago.”
Savage noted that even now, “expert after expert is claiming that this radical terrorist was nothing but a “lone wolf,” and “yet the terrorist himself claims that he is affiliated with al-Qaida.”
“The Savage Nation” airs live Monday through Friday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Eastern. It can be heard online through stations such as KSTE in Sacramento.
