(NEWS.com.au) — A shark has attacked a diver on the face at Melbourne Aquarium today.
The woman member was doing a routine feed when the shark snapped at the Shipwreck Cove exhibit.
The diver was taken to hospital with a superficial facial wound from the bite shortly after 11.40am.
"The ambulance was called, as per our standard operating procedures, after the staff member was given first aid.
The staff member has now been taken to hospital for treatment,'' general manager Mark Manteit said.
