The smartest man in the room

By WND Staff

What’s wise today is oft tomorrow dumb
When time reveals the course of foolish thought
The spending smiles of deficits will numb
Someone will pay, it’s only time that’s bought

But time’s enough, elections are at hand
A trillion’s just a number in his smile
Tomorrow and tomorrow promised grand
All mad believing hope is blind to guile

But yes some mass gets interim relief
He’ll buy their votes with what the rich can’t hide
In time the debt will be beyond belief
The wealth then gone with nothing to divide

But ah till then the ignorant will choose
The gifted smile and charm of doublespeak
America deserves what it will lose
Four years to reach the 20 trillion peak
