Why is it so hard for white Christian leaders to say Barack Obama is emphatically not a Christian?
While appearing on MSNBC's "Morning Joe," evangelist Franklin Graham was ambushed by a pack of liberal pundits and asked whether he believed Barack Obama was a Christian.

Graham responded, "I cannot answer that question for anybody." He went on to say that because Obama's father was a Muslim, "under Islamic law, the Muslim world sees Barack Obama as a Muslim." The NAACP and a dozen left-wing black church leaders attacked him for "bearing false witness" and accused him of fomenting racism.
Last week Graham apologized. He said in a written statement:

I regret any comments I have ever made which may have cast any doubt on the personal faith of our president, Mr. Obama.
These are the words of a weak man. Where is the representation of Christ in this statement?

Anyone with any insight can see Obama is not a Christian. We see it in his radical pro-abortion – even infanticide – stance: His record as an Illinois senator reveals a desire to even kill babies left alive after a botched abortion.
A man who goes so far as to tell Catholic hospitals they must cover abortion-inducing drugs for their employees is definitely not a Christian.
Someone who tells us we're not a Christian nation, yet talks of the positive impact Islam has supposedly always had on America, is selling us something. It's not Christianity.
For 20 years, he sat in the church of the hate-filled, anti-white, anti-America, anti-Jewish preacher Jeremiah Wright Jr. Then, with a straight face, he told us he didn't hear the preacher's infamous rants.
Obama has called Jim Wallis his spiritual adviser. Wallis espouses a "social gospel" – i.e., really Marxism, the philosophy responsible for hundreds of millions of deaths.

Can you really say with a straight face that Barack Obama is a Christian?
So what's the problem with Franklin Graham saying he's not sure whether Obama is a Christian? Absolutely nothing. I would have gone even further and stated that Obama is not a Christian and that I'm starting to wonder if he's indeed a Muslim.
Franklin said in his apology to Obama:
I apologize to him and any I have offended for not better articulating my reason for not supporting him in this election – for his faith has nothing to do with my consideration of him as a candidate.

What a contradiction!
Graham also said that he objects to Obama's policy stances on abortion and same-sex marriage, which Graham considers to be in "direct conflict" with Scripture.
People of faith should consider Barack Obama's faith, or lack thereof, when they vote. And Graham himself is pointing out that Obama's policies and actions contradict Scripture. It's unfortunate that he caved because now Graham's apology will cast out the doubt that some of his followers have about Obama's counterfeit Christianity.
Would Christ apologize for offending people with the truth? No.
The truth is that the NAACP and left-wing black clergy bullied Franklin Graham into issuing an apology for the truthful words he spoke, due to accusations of "racism."
This is a politically motivated attack on a Christian leader by Democrats and the NAACP. Democrats could not allow the facts of what Graham said about Obama's faith to stand and sow doubt in the minds of Christian voters. So they attacked the messenger, labeling him a racist and a liar. This is reminiscent of the intimidation used by Hitler in Nazi Germany.
In the past, I've admired Franklin Graham's work and outspokenness about the threat of radical Islam and its persecution of Christians in Muslim countries under Shariah law (Islamic law). I appreciate his work with Samaritan's Purse to free persecuted Christians around the globe, including those in Sudan and Iran.
But in this case, Graham's weakness is a pitiful representation of Christ and is disheartening to Christians in America and those very same persecuted Christians he aims to support around the world.
Barack Obama has shown without a doubt that he does not believe in a Judeo-Christian God. It's unfortunate that white Christian men and women can't handle the slings and arrows coming their way for stating the obvious truth about this president. Yet, Christ warned us that we would be attacked for his sake.
I am a Christian minister with 22 years experience counseling men, women and families. Through the grace of God, He took away my anger, my emptiness and my racism against white Americans. He replaced it with love, which manifests itself in battle as courage.
Since my conversion, I have been called an Uncle Tom, Uncle Ruckus, a sellout; I've had guns drawn on me and had my telephone tapped. I've been thrown off of three radio stations and called "n-----" so many times I've thought about changing my middle name! But through it all, I've been given the grace to stay the course. Change is possible!
Christians – especially men, black and white – have lost their salt. They must regain their manhood by seeking God with all their heart. Only then can we hope to restore men, our families and our great nation. Men must realize that they represent Christ on earth and that, in love, there is no fear.
