Rush: Obama to launch next ‘civil right’?

By Kathy Shaidle

Rush Limbaugh

Rush Limbaugh predicts that if the Supreme Court strikes down Obamacare, the president will react swiftly and decisively, using “code words” like “the days of Jim Crow” to demonize the highest court in the land and spark a new “civil rights movement.”

On the other pressing matter of the day Rush declared, “The whole racial case against [George] Zimmerman has collapsed,” pointing out that some of the evidence in the Trayvon Martin case has been altered by the mainstream media (FREE audio).

Michael Savage

Savage’s 27th book, “Trickle Down Tyranny,” was released this week, immediately rocketing into the Amazon.com “Top 100.”

At AmericanThinker.com, Larrey Anderson calls the book “impeccably researched,” adding, “The book hits the reader like a head-on collision with a freight train of facts.”

Adam Taxin at Examiner.com, himself a broadcaster, offered FREE audio).

Laura Ingraham

Rick Santorum, Pat Buchanan and Donald Trump were among Laura’s guests this week.

Governor Nikki Haley from South Carolina also came on to discuss her new book, “Can’t Is Not an Option.” She threw her support behind Mitt Romney and explained why she wouldn’t accept the V.P. spot on the 2012 ticket (FREE audio).

Aaron Klein

Should Al Sharpton be arrested for incitement? That was Aaron Klein’s provocative question on this week’s show. He also welcomed Sen. Jim Inhofe, R-Okla., to the program, to talk about his new book about the global warming hoax and explain where the issue of missile defense stands.

Klein also revealed inside information about Obama’s secret talks with Iran and covered the Supreme Court’s Obamacare case (FREE audio).

Glenn Beck

Glenn Beck’s nemesis Van Jones’ new book offers his perspective on their lengthy feud, which saw Jones getting fired as White House “green czar” and Jones’ supporters boycotting Beck in retaliation – a boycott they claim prompted Beck’s departure from Fox News.

Beck’s media production company includes its own publishing imprint. This week, Beck announced he would be publishing a new book this summer by Paul Kengor about Frank Marshall Davis, Obama’s acknowledged mentor and a “pro-Moscow communist.” Beck says Davis’s influence is the key to understanding Obama’s pro-Russian foreign policy.

And now, from the left side of the dial …

Liberals who dismiss Rush Limbaugh and other conservative talk radio hosts as “raving lunatics” might want to listen to what some of their fellow progressives say on the radio every day.

Take Mike Malloy. The notorious talker was particularly unhinged this week, decrying Florida’s “stand your ground” self-defense law and speculating that conservative legislators might pass a “stand your pregnancy” law “where any woman who starts menstruating can be shot dead because she wore a hoodie when she went out to buy a box of tampons!” (FREE audio)

Even as satire, the bizarre concept makes no sense. Neither did Randi Rhodes’ “joke” that Congressman Paul Ryan “looks so scary, creepy – it’s kind of like God’s way of warning us he’s dangerous. Kind of like the same reason a rattlesnake has a rattle.”

While it’s refreshing to hear a progressive media personality mention God on the public airwaves, neither of these hosts are doing their cause much good. Ultimately, they are the ones who truly come across as “scary” and “creepy”!

With supporters like these, maybe Obama should be worried about his political future.
