(YouTube) Mitt Romney spoke about the importance of family and hard work in a commencement address at an evangelical Christian university today, but barely mentioned hot-button social issues like abortion and gay marriage or his Mormon faith.
The Republican presidential candidate told graduates at Liberty University in Virginia that culture matters. He defined American culture as one that "promotes personal responsibility, the dignity of work, the value of education and the merit of service."
Romney's one sustained applause line came when he declared: "Marriage is a relationship between one man and one woman."
