Free-trade socialism

Great column, to which I subscribe 100 percent ["We need more economic nationalists"].

The critical link, which you have not mentioned, is between unrestricted free trade and socialism. Unrestricted free trade leads to high unemployment thereby increasing the size of the dependent class. This soon leads to a socialist government. This explains why the West is in such a huge economic mess.
