(C-SPAN) Attorney General Eric Holder will testify Tuesday at a Senate Judiciary Committee. Oversight members will be hearing testimony on a wide range of initiatives of the Department of Justice.
Mr. Holder will likely be asked about his appointments last Friday of two federal prosecutors to lead an investigation into leaks of national security information. Critics have accused the Administration of attempting to increase President Barack Obama's election possibilities.
In a statement Friday, Senators John McCain (R-NM) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said Attorney General's decision "falls far short of what is needed" and called for a special outside counsel to investigate.
