Lisa Henson is taking a strong stand against Chik-fil-A in support of gay marriage ["Muppets bash Chik-fil-A over owner's faith"]. That is certainly her right. But, really, Lisa, why stop there? A majority of the United States have rejected the gay-marriage referendum. Why don't you pull your merchandising and any future movies from these states? Now, I realize that such a move would put a serious dent in your company's profits, but this is a matter of conscience, right? Surely you don't want to give these states the impression that you respect their right to voice their opinions?
I look forward to reading about the triumph of your commitment to gay marriage over your commitment as a CEO to running a profitable company. In other words, dear, put your money where your mouth is.
