Texas Rep. Francisco "Quico" Canseco said ending America's huge dependence upon foreign energy should be a major goal, and it will easily create tens of thousands of jobs in the process. Canseco said President Obama's claim of greatly expanding exploration is stunningly deceptive, and he explains the big difference between the administration approving drilling permits and drilling leases.
Canseco details how the House bill will expedite the process for companies wishing to explore for energy. He also responds to criticisms that the bill does nothing to advocate renewable energies and explains how embracing the House Republicans' agenda could lead to a considerable drop in gas prices before long.
