Sovereign-citizen claim fails in court

It's my understanding that there's nothing to prohibit me from traveling

A woman convicted of traffic violations this week in Charlotte County has none of the above; she's what law enforcement considers a Sovereign Citizen.

The NBC2 Investigators found out law enforcement is watching the Sovereign Movement closely.

Soft-spoken in court, Linda Louise debates just about everything.

"It's my understanding that there's nothing to prohibit me from traveling," Louise said in court.

Louise was pulled over on May 1 for improper registration, and later charged with not having a license and resisting arrest.
