We were all 'born that way'

I said some time ago that I couldn't see how certain people could claim that homosexuals were born that way and not also take the position that pedophiles were also born that way ["Has the normalizing of pedophilia begun?"]. Well, now the crusade is beginning, as you noted in your article.

Most people that do not have a religious background will never understand that we were all born as sinners, and it is a genetic problem that we inherited from our forefathers. Thus, as the Bible says, everything reproduces after its own kind. However, the Bible doesn't allow us to use our nature as an excuse for sin, but rather, calls on us to overcome our nature by looking to Jesus Christ. Thus, the drunkard, the adulterer, the thief, the wife beater, murder, etc. can't use the excuse that I was born that way.

To me, it is so simple, but I guess that is the problem. It's too simple for most people to understand. I guess we should just empty out our prisons since people were born to commit the crimes they commit. How ridiculous.
