(LAS VEGAS REVIEW-JOURNAL) Police have arrested an accomplice of a man who was shot dead by an employee when he tried to rob a Dairy Queen with a sword.
Carol Matteo, 47, was booked on charges of robbery with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery and burglary. Las Vegas police said Matteo dropped off the would-be robber at the Dairy Queen at 2595 S. Maryland Parkway, near Sahara Avenue.
The masked man then tried to rob the restaurant with a sword, police said. A clerk shot and killed the man, who died at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center.
