(RomeReports) Benedict XVI met with several thousand young people in the Maronite Patriarchate in Bkerke, Lebanon. He asked them to not have fear and not to leave their country.
The Pope also spoke to young Muslims in the liturgy with a heartfelt reference to the Syrian youth who traveled to Lebanon to see him. The Pope asked that Lebanon’s coexistence of Christians and Muslims continue to be an example to all the Middle East countries.
