I just read "Cop blows away dog for no good reason." I have been a police officer for 25 years and am a dog owner. I am also a victim of a vicious dog bite. I do not know what happened during this event, but your coverage is heavily weighted against the officer.
Have you read the comments of the other readers? Do you care what they are saying?
Police in this country have always been public servants. They remain that to this day. There are examples of abuse; however most officers serve with distinction and would place their lives in danger to save others.

Last year, I attended six funerals in the Seattle/Tacoma area for fellow officers who were gunned down by citizens. Your slanted coverage of this and other events involving law enforcement place all of us who serve at greater risk. The public is looking for an enemy in the government, and you are providing it for them.
Please stop being so inflammatory and let the investigation work itself out. A country that makes war with its police should make peace with its criminals.
