Voter fraud: The way to America’s destruction

By Chuck Norris

Does voter fraud actually exist?

If you ask the Obama administration, Democratic lawmakers or the left-leaning media, they often argue it’s a myth concocted by Republicans to suppress Democratic turnout.

Even U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder has called voter fraud “a problem that does not really exist.”

But what you won’t see in the headlines of many of the nation’s leading newspapers is the series of explosive, eye-opening investigations by patriot James O’Keefe and his nonprofit organization, Project Veritas.

In scandalous footage captured by a Project Veritas videographer, a top Obama campaign worker gleefully helps an undercover reporter cast a ballot for the president in two states. The reporter identifies herself as an Obama supporter who has illegally registered to vote in Florida and Texas and plans to vote in both places.

Organizing for America Regional Field Director Stephanie Caballero – a salaried employee of the Democratic National Committee in Houston, Texas – offers to print out a ballot the reporter can mail to Florida.

“Oh my God, this is so funny,” Caballero says. “It’s cool though.”

She even offered advice on what to do if caught by authorities: “If anyone checks, say ‘I don’t know.'”

Caballero was fired after the video’s release, but only after House Judiciary Committee chairman Rep. Lamar Smith demanded the Obama campaign and DNC terminate staffers who engage in voter fraud.

However, this was no isolated incident. Project Veritas’ latest effort in Texas, New Jersey, New York and Connecticut shows Obama campaign workers helping people who say they want to commit election fraud.

In my April 15 column, I wrote about similar investigations in Minnesota, New Hampshire and Vermont, where O’Keefe obtained election ballots by using celebrity names like Tom Brady, Tim Tebow and even some of the 1.8 million people who are deceased but still registered voters. In fact, more video proof from Holder’s own voting precinct in Washington, D.C., revealed voter fraud is alive and well in the nation’s capital.

Just last week, O’Keefe declared, “We’ve got tapes across the country that we’re in the process of releasing that show that really nobody, nobody said, ‘This is a problem. We can’t help you with this.’ It’s always, ‘We’ll look the other way. We’ll keep our mouth shut. Here you go. Not a problem.’ And at the highest levels locally, the people who run these offices not having an ultimate problem with it is, I think, criminal.”

O’Keefe has promised to release more videos as long as the Obama campaign, Congress, governors, attorneys general and the mainstream media continue to downplay and ignore his investigations.

Obama campaign staffers are only doing what they are told and emulating what they see as right and acceptable from their leaders at the top. They are following orders. The old saying, “Show me your friends and I’ll show you your future,” could not be more true.

As if that isn’t enough to undermine the integrity of our elections process, the Obama administration is doing its best to nullify state laws enacted to prevent voter fraud.

At least 23 states currently have or are considering laws to require voter IDs, tighten registration requirements or remove ineligible voters from registration rolls.

As WND reported, the Advancement Project – a powerful group with leaders who have donated tens of thousands of dollars to the Obama campaign and DNC – has also been waging a war against voter ID laws.

These common-sense laws safeguard election integrity by simply requiring a voter to present identification before casting a ballot, and most of our citizens approve of them. According to a new Washington Post poll, voter ID laws have support from 74 percent of Americans.

It’s no wonder these laws receive so much support from the public. The problem of voter fraud is widespread:

  • In August, the Colorado Secretary of State’s Office sent out 4,000 letters to people on its voter rolls who are possible noncitizens ineligible to vote.
  • In September, the Florida Department of State identified 198 suspected noncitizens who were illegally registered to vote.
  • In two Ohio counties, the number of people currently registered to vote exceeds the voting-age population, according to the Columbus Dispatch. At least one out of every five registered Ohio voters is likely to be ineligible to cast a ballot.
  • True the Vote, a Houston-based election integrity group, has notified 160 counties across the nation that there are more voters on registration rolls than eligible voters in each county.
  • In February, the Pew Center said it found 2.8 million people with active registrations in more than one state.
  • According to Project Veritas, investigators contacted the North Carolina Board of Elections and presented it with a list of 30,000 residents who died between 2002 and 2012 and are still registered to vote. (And that’s in a state Obama won by only 14,000 votes in 2008!)

Election fraudsters often get away with these tactics because good citizens don’t get involved in efforts to ensure Americans enjoy a secure system of elections.

Fortunately for Americans who wish to preserve election integrity in our nation, there are ways you can help stop voter fraud. What can you do?

  • Participate in the process! America needs good, honest citizens at its polls, so volunteer to be a poll watcher in your precinct. You can also sign up for True the Vote’s poll volunteer program.
  • Speak up when you encounter a case of possible voter fraud, manipulation or intimidation. Report suspected fraud to election officials, members of the media and your lawmakers.
  • Support voter ID laws in your state.
  • Demand that your representatives in Congress exercise their constitutional duty of oversight and investigate cases of voter fraud across the nation.
  • Put pressure on your state lawmakers to require verification of voters’ citizenship status using the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements database, which is used to check immigration status for federal-benefit programs. In states where fraud is rampant, lawmakers must be pressured to establish task forces to investigate this serious problem.
  • State and federal judges have blocked or postponed implementation of voter ID laws in South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas and Wisconsin. It’s time to take a stand and pressure every governor and state attorney general to fight to have such voter ID rulings overturned because of the pervasiveness of this problem. The system cannot be trusted!
  • Go to EndVoterFraudNow.com and sign Project Veritas’ open letter to Attorney General Eric Holder demanding that he “ensure enforcement of all federal and state laws passed to protect the integrity of America’s electoral system – effective immediately.”
  • Finally, send this information to every voter you know to give it maximum possible impact and help safeguard the integrity of America’s election process.

Does voter fraud actually exist? Yes! And it threatens the very fabric of our constitutional republic.

In America, voting is a privilege that belongs only to citizens who are qualified to vote. We have the right to safeguard it at all costs.
