(WPXI) A Channel 11 News crew on Wednesday visited a McDonald's in Follansbee, W.Va., where an American flag was seen flying upside down and at half-staff on the morning after the election.
Channel 11's sister station WTOV reported that the flag in question was taken down at approximately 11:30 a.m., but not before the news organization captured video of it.
Flying the flag upside down is generally a sign of distress. This has many people wondering whether the McDonald's incident was some sort of protest in response to Tuesday night's presidential election results.
