The winning theme for Democrats and their Big Media friends was that Republicans were waging a "war on women."
They fear-mongered themselves into power by falsely accusing the GOP of wanting to deny women birth control.
They went ballistic when Missouri U.S. Senate candidate Todd Akin made his unfortunate slip of the tongue about "legitimate rape."

They seized on every opportunity to portray Republicans as misogynist creeps.
And it worked.

But, once again, the evidence continues to mount that if anyone is actually practicing a war on women, it is the Democrats.
The latest example is the son of re-elected Rep. James Moran, who pleaded guilty two weeks ago to battering his girlfriend, smashing her head into a metal trash can outside a Washington bar earlier this month, leaving her with a skull fracture and broken nose.

Patrick Moran was forced by the video exposé to resign from his father's campaign. Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli is currently investigating his actions at the direction of the state's Board of Elections.
This kind of anti-women behavior is hardly an isolated incident for Democrats.
In fact, it's part of a pattern of behavior that has been on vivid display for the entire nation since Bill Clinton was president.
But Democrats are permitted by the media to skate on the physical abuse of women, while Republicans are punished for slips of the tongue.

Just think about it.
There was Paula Jones, Monica Lewinsky, Juanita Broaddrick, Kathleen Willey, Sally Perdue and more. And that was just Clinton. We could go back to Ted Kennedy and Christopher Dodd.
It's also a matter of actual policy with the Democratic Party. It's the Democrats, for instance, who favor abortion for any reason, including for sex-selection purposes – which almost always results in the senseless death of little baby girls.
Part of the Democrats' election-year "war on women" narrative had to do with common-sense Republican objections to the Violence Against Women Act. They used it in campaign ads to scare women into believing that Republicans were in favor of violence against women. Why did Republicans oppose the bill? Because Democrats wrote into the legislation a provision that would make it easy for those seeking immigration visas to claim they are likely to aid in criminal investigations. Republicans simply sought an amendment that would require that the alleged crime on which the visa was based must have been reported within 60 days of its occurrence, that the statute of limitations on the alleged crime had not run out and that the alleged crime be under active investigation.

You might ask, "What does this even have to do with violence against women?" The answer is nothing.
It's just one of many examples of how Democrats mislead women into thinking they are their true advocates in Washington.
But it's the Patrick Morans of the world that represent reality for actual women and actual violence.
Democrats like Patrick Moran's father are also friendly to Shariah law and the worldwide Muslim Brotherhood. It's hardly a secret what that kind of support means to women around the world.
It's also Democrats who are waging a war on the family, the institution that keeps women out of poverty better than any legislation ever could.
In fact, nothing would make Democrats happier than to keep women barefoot and pregnant and, thus, completely dependent on government for their survival and their taxpayer-subsidized abortions.
The Democratic Party is without doubt the worst enemy American women could ever have.
It's not their rhetoric you have to watch, it's their behavior.
