[To Pat Buchanan:] You are so wrong. Adam Lanza did not do this for fame, neither did James Holmes in Aurora. They did it because they're both extremely intelligent individuals sickened by disease. It's simple. So please, do yourself a favor and remove the assumption that "he was thinking fame as he targeted his victims." In these two cases, and others, it's shallow, superficial and overlooks the true cause: They were mentally disturbed and despite the signs (and, oh yes, there were signs!) did not receive the help they needed.
