(The Tennessean) MURFREESBORO — A mother accused of raping her two children multiple times when she lived here more than 10 years ago was indicted by a grand jury last week on 38 sexually based offenses.
Indictments issued against Angela Elizabeth Montgomery, now of Portland, Ore., show that police have identified two new victims in the case and that investigators have evidence Montgomery tried to coerce two witnesses during the Murfreesboro Police Department’s investigation into her alleged criminal activities.
Montgomery, 50, was indicted last week on 20 counts of child rape, six counts of rape and 12 counts of incest. She also faces two counts of coercing a witness to a crime, according to court documents.
