(New York Daily News) The son of Virginia Rep. Jim Moran has pleaded guilty to assaulting his girlfriend outside a Washington, D.C., bar in a violent incident the Democratic congressman called an “embarrassing situation.”
The Washington City Paper reported that Patrick Moran allegedly slammed his girlfriend’s head into a metal trash can cage outside a Washington, D.C., bar after midnight on Dec. 1.
An ambulance worker told police that the unidentified woman appeared to have a broken nose and may have had a skull fracture under one eye.
