FORT WASHINGTON, Pa. (CBS) — Montgomery County officials say there was a brief lockdown around 8:30 a.m. when school security at Upper Dublin High School thought a student had a rifle in his backpack.

According to the Upper Dublin Township Police Department, the incident began when four students were spotted on a school security video in a hallway with what looked to be a long gun slung over the shoulder of one of the males.

The school was immediately placed on lockdown and police were called to the building and began searching for the four males.
