(COLUMBUS DISPATCH) — With heavy hearts, the Hall family and their friends spent this afternoon taking down what remained of the ravaged Christmas display at their Ross County home.
It was the end of the line for a Christmas tradition.
“It was the biggest display in the Chillicothe area,” said Tim Wachovec, a neighbor who estimated that hundreds would drive down their Barnhart Drive cul-de-sac to see the lights on Hall’s front lawn. A busload of nursing home residents from Frankfort made a pilgrimage Saturday night.
