(EXPRESS) — CHILDREN as young as 12 are being offered nicotine patches at school without the knowledge of their parents or teachers.

NHS nurses are holding drop-in sessions at hundreds of secondary schools where pupils can get advice and treatments.

But some parents are furious their children can get quit-smoking aids and also contraceptives behind their backs.
