Dear Mr. Farah,
The Wenzel poll results did not surprise me [“Will America revolt over gun confiscation?”]. To say it was a “testament to our longstanding stability” may be true in part. Over the past 30-plus years, WE were taught to be passive in all confrontations. Self-defense is now equal to offense. Playing on the inherent fears of gullible women – boys and men were feminized. A gun, in any form, however innocent, is now a pre-crime.
Rights have been replaced by imaginary phantoms.
Besides this fascist brainwashing, we, like other nations, suffer from “normalcy syndrome.” That, and a long history of biblical ignorance.
