Colin Powell invited to see Obama fraud evidence

Former Secretary of State Colin Powell has denounced Republicans for “birther nonsense” and described such concerns as “idiot presentations,” but now a law enforcement official who has reviewed the evidence regarding Barack Obama’s eligibility has invited Powell to see it for himself.

“I don’t know what Mr. Powell’s problem is,” said Michael Zullo, the lead investigator of the Cold Case Posse for Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Maricopa County, Ariz.

“I would open an invitation to him at my expense to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, and I will sit down with him and show him the evidence that we have accumulated that brings us to the only logical conclusion – that this document (Obama’s birth certificate) is manufactured.”

Zullo argued that “if it’s manufactured, the president of the United States at that point in time owes the American people at explanation.

“Tell us why. … It’s as simple as that.”

Zullo was appointed by Arpaio to lead an investigation of Obama’s eligibility to be president after a contingent of constituents asked the sheriff to investigate. The citizens presented evidence Obama was not eligible under the Constitution’s requirement that a president be a “natural born citizen.”

Zullo has made trips to Hawaii as part of his investigation. He has found that not only does the evidence indicate the birth document released by Obama amid much fanfare at a White House news conference is a fraud, the state of Hawaii probably has been complicit in a cover-up.

The sheriff has concluded there is probable cause that the document Obama released in 2011, purporting to be Obama’s original, long-form birth certificate, is a forgery. The posse said it also found probable cause that Obama’s Selective Service registration form is fraudulent.

Is Obama constitutionally eligible to serve? Here’s WND’s complete archive of news reports on the issue.

The implications are huge. Washington Times columnist Jeffrey Kuhner warned.

“A fraudulent birth certificate would mean that Mr. Obama is ineligible to serve as commander in chief. His presidency would therefore be legally and constitutionally illegitimate,” he wrote. “It would mean that he should be immediately removed from office – impeached. Moreover, every law and executive order passed under his administration – Obamacare, the economic stimulus, the Dodd-Frank financial reform, the government takeover of General Motors and Chrysler, the granting of amnesty to nearly one million illegal immigrants, the National Defense Reauthorization Act, the drone assassination list – would be null and void.”

Zullo’s challenge to Powell to review the evidence came during an interview with Mark Gillar on the “Tea Party Power Hour.

Listen to the interview:

WND columnist and Ambassador Alan Keyes also jumped on Powell for his position.

“Powell also went out of his way to speak with contempt of people he snidely dismissed as ‘birthers.’ As I’ve pointed out repeatedly, the issue of Obama’s eligibility is about the natural law basis of the American Republic and the rational thinking that justifies the people’s right to self-government. When Powell and the other henchmen of the elitist faction demean people who demand that the Constitution’s ‘natural born citizen’ language be taken seriously, their aim is to undermine respect for the Constitution as the Supreme Law of the land.”

Diminishing the authority of the Constitution, Keyes said, will lead to tyranny.

“Colin Powell’s complicity with Obama” shows “the GOP’s elitist faction leadership are, the fifth column of this planned coup d’etat” in which the Democrats plan to sweep “America’s constitutional republic onto the ash heap of history.”

Zullo said the ripple effect of a faked birth document is troublesome because presenting it as a genuine document violates state and federal statutes.

Zullo told Gillar that Powell’s comments are comical because it’s been “proven beyond probable cause” that Obama’s birth representation is “a forgery.”

He asserted it’s not even a document, but an image generated on a computer.

He also was offended by Powell’s denigrating use of the term “birther.”

“We’re not birthers,” Zullo said. “I don’t even know what birther means. It’s just a term the media has come up with for anyone wanting to question anything to do with the early life of this individual. That’s just nonsense.”

He said, “We’re talking about a fraudulent document that has been created outside the bounds of the law” and used “in fraudulent representations.”

Powell’s slam came in an interview with ABC.

He said Republicans “have to stop buying into things that demonize the president.”

“I mean, why aren’t Republican leaders shouting out about all this birther nonsense and all these other things? They should speak out. This is the kind of intolerance that I’ve been talking about where these idiot presentations continue to be made and you don’t see the senior leadership of the party say, ‘No, that’s wrong,'” he said.

“In fact, sometimes by not speaking out, they’re encouraging it. And the base keeps buying the stuff,” he said.

Powell was national security adviser under President Ronald Reagan and the nation’s top diplomat under President George W. Bush.

Since then, he’s advocated strongly for the policies and practices of Obama.

Arpaio has said he’s gone about as far as he can in his own department’s investigation of Obama, and the real solution would be for Congress to investigate.

He previously told a radio talk show, “The only way we’re going to get to the bottom of this … someone, and I don’t know who, has to look into this and really make a full-fledged investigation and take everything we have and move forward.

“Who do I go to? The U.S. government? I’m in a box. [What we need is for] Congress to open up hearings, get a special prosecutor and let’s get with it.”
