(DAILYMAIL) — The story of football player Manti Te’o’s ‘fake’ girlfriend has inspired hundreds of men to post photographs of themselves online making out with thin air.
The photographs, which began popping up all over the Internet Thursday, gave birth to a new verb: Te’oing.
The verb is meant to describe the act of dating an invisible or nonexistent person. It can also be used interchangeably with online dating.
