It's safe to say the millions of unemployed Americans have more free time than they'd like. They would rather be working. But there is a good way to spend some of that time.
They should carefully monitor how their senators and representatives vote on immigration. Those votes don't have just a little to do with job prospects; they have everything to do with job prospects.
Republicans think still another amnesty will give them more Hispanic votes, problematic at best given past trends. But even if the Republicans do gain more votes, how does that help those competing for jobs with ever larger numbers of Hispanics?
